Blurry wedding photos are the fastest way to cut to a feeling. While they’ve definitely had their moment of popularity online, I really feel they are more than just an instagram trend. I intentionally blur images throughout your wedding day (both by slowing the shutter speed and playing with focus) to capture a vibe that is fleeting but memorable. Moments that are hazy in their physicality - guests running in the rain, a bride practicing her twirl before her first dance or (most often) the couple sneaking away together for a moment alone. Blurry wedding photos capture energy in a way that a crispy shot of that same moment simply misses. Check out a couple of my favourite below.
